  • Groundnut Oil: Using wood, first grade quality country groundnuts (முதல் தரமான நாட்டு நிலக்கடலை) are cold pressed (49°C) to produce groundnut oil.
  • Gingelly (or Sesame) Oil: Sesame seeds are purified by pouring them in water and removing their husks, then organic jaggery is added and Gingelly (or Sesame) oil is prepared by cold pressing (49°C) with wood. The cold pressed Gingelly oil does not have any rancidity or bitterness.
  • The cold pressing method preserves the oil’s micronutrients and flavours. Thus, cold pressed Groundnut oil and Gingelly oil contain high levels of protein and antioxidants.
  • What is the benefit of cold pressing over hot pressing? The hot pressing process involves the extraction of oil by combining high heat (200°C) with chemical solvents. This high temperature destroys most of the original nutrients.
  • The pack contains 2 litres of wood cold pressed (49°C) Groundnut oil and 1 litre of wood cold pressed (49°C) Gingelly (or Sesame) oil.
  • Shelf life: 6 Months
